I wanted to suggest an improvement that could help a lot of people who use Hydra on Linux.
The function to add "non-Steam" games works well, but I missed a way to run these games directly with Proton, without relying on the Steam launcher.
Proton performs better than pure Wine, especially in DirectX games.
Fewer bugs: in Wine, it's common for the keyboard or controller to stop working after an alt-tab. In Proton this rarely happens.
More stability and less need for manual adjustments.
Today I use a workaround that works well: I created a .sh script that runs the game with Proton and, to be accepted in Hydra, I renamed it to .exe. The launcher recognizes it and runs smoothly.
It would be great if Hydra had a button or option to make this easier: choose Proton, point to the game, and run directly - all without needing the Steam client open.
