How can Hydra Launcher improve?

The game won't go past 0% on Hydra, but the file shows up in my games folder

When I look in my games folder, the game is there, but Hydra says it hasn't downloaded. I've tried this with several games and it keeps happening. In the portable version, when I don't log into my account, the game downloads and Hydra says it's downloaded, but when I log in, it goes back to being like this again. Can anyone help me?

Eu queria deixar um feedback sobre o Hydra Launcher. Sinceramente, eu amo esse aplicativo! A ideia e a proposta dele são simplesmente maravilhosas. Dá para ver que foi um projeto pensado com muito cuidado, criatividade e dedicação. A experiência que ele oferece é muito diferente e inovadora, e isso faz o Hydra Launcher se destacar bastante. O design é bonito, a proposta é única e o funcionamento é muito interessante. Aplicativos assim mostram como ainda dá para inovar muito quando o assunto é interface e experiência do usuário. Por isso eu queria sugerir uma coisa que, na minha opinião, seria incrível: uma versão para celular Android. Acho que muita gente adoraria poder usar o Hydra Launcher diretamente no smartphone. Seria uma forma de levar essa experiência incrível para ainda mais pessoas. Eu realmente amo o aplicativo e achei a proposta dele maravilhosa. Uma versão mobile para Android iria inovar ainda mais e poderia fazer muito sucesso. Parabéns pelo trabalho e pelo projeto incrível!

Meu hydra baixa arquivos sozinhos

Meu Hydra notificou que estava sem espaço. Fui olhar as pastas e vi que o Hydra baixou três jogos: Cuphead, Poppy Playtime e Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. O Hydra baixou esses jogos sem eu querer. Eles não estavam na fila de download e não estavam semeando. Eles estavam na mesma biblioteca que eu já tinha baixado antes, mas o Hydra baixou esses três jogos no meu computador sem eu querer. Não sei quando isso aconteceu e não fui notificado nem nada. Apaguei as pastas.

Android version of Hydra Launcher

Hey everyone! ​I’ve been following the development of Hydra Launcher for a while now, and the Linux version is honestly a masterpiece. But looking at where mobile hardware is going in 2026, I think it’s time to talk about a potential Android / ARM64 port. ​We’re seeing a massive surge of 'power users' on Android. With the new Snapdragon 8 Elite (Gen 5) and massive 7000mAh+ batteries hitting the market, our phones are basically becoming pocket-sized PCs. Many of us are already using tools like Winlator, Box64, and Termux to run Windows games, but what we’re missing is a clean, open-source interface to manage it all. ​Since Hydra already has a solid Linux base and great Proton/Wine integration, a native Android APK (or even a dedicated ARM64 Linux build for Termux/X11) would be a total game-changer. ​Imagine having the Hydra UI on a handheld or a high-end phone, launching PC titles directly from a beautiful library. It feels like the natural next step for the project. ​What do you guys think? Is anyone else interested in seeing Hydra go mobile? ​Huge thanks to the devs for the hard work so far – keep it up!

Custom Scaling

Make a way to zoom out the UI/Scaling slider. I feel that the UI can get a bit cramped and a way to change that would be quite cool. Also some themes just make elements way too big and I’m just a lil 1080 boy. Create a way to zoom out the user interface/scaling slider. Isso atrasa downloads de outros players, especialmente jogos menos populares. Minha Sugestão: Sistema de Pontos por Seed Time Pontos por tempo semeando: Ganhe pontos proporcionais ao tempo que você mantém o jogo seedando (ex: 1 ponto/hora). Benefícios desbloqueados: Prioridade de download (pular filas, banda maior) Bonus para Dybrid (descontos ou dias grátis) Hydra Cloud grátis (armazenamento extra temporário) Slots extras de download simultâneos Acesso antecipado a novos repacks Exemplos Práticos Seed 24h = 24 pontos → +1 slot download simultâneo por 7 dias; Seed 7 dias = 168 pontos → 1 semana grátis Dybrid; Seed 30 dias = 720 pontos → 50GB Hydra Cloud grátis. Por que isso funcionaria? I understand that the Hydra catalogue is just a mirror of Steam’s library. But this is confusing because when you search for a game on hydra.wiki, it shows all results from sources, including many non-Steam games. So it’s common for a game found there to not appear when searching Hydra itself, even when you add the source it’s from. I think you can install such games by copying the magnet link directly into Hydra, but this is a clunky process. It would be really cool if there was an “extended search” option that would show the same results as on hydra.wiki, pulling data directly from the download sources you have added. This might lead to more “junk” results or not support the cover art and other metadata from Steam, but it would make finding and installing games, especially older or non-Steam games, much easier.
